ITS NOT YOURS

There aren't enough places saying it out there, evidently, so I thought I'd add another.

To trace someone else's picture does not make it your original art.

To alter someone else's artwork does not make it your own art.

To outright copy someone else's artwork and slap your name or watermark onto it, or even leaving it without that, does not make it yours.

Having a mental disorder like autism or whatever else you claim to have or not being good at drawing is not an excuse. Nothing is an excuse for theft. NOTHING. If you want to be an artist, learn to create your own art. No one is great at first, we all had to start at the bottom and work our way up to being better at it. You have to keep trying, just like we did. Stealing won't teach you how to draw, it won't make you a good artist, and it won't garner you any respect from the artistic community-only hatred, anger and disgust.

This must be learned.
